If you’re the son and heir apparent of none less than Ghana’s successful media mogul and businessman, Osei Kwame Despite and you’re having a big social event like a wedding then you have to make sure everything is beyond the standard.
And this is exactly what Kennedy Osei did when he wedded his dear wife, illustrator and designer, Tracey Ameyaw on Saturday, 15 February 2020 in Accra. As reported earlier, their Christian wedding was scheduled to take place at the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Faith Congregation, Shiashie amidst pomp and pageantry as we’ve never seen.
The procession for the event was filled with a cavalry of horses and a fleet of luxury cars including a Maybach, Rolls Royces, Ferrari, Tesla, G-Wagon and an Aston Martin.
Kennedy and his entourage filled the auditorium with a statement and bespoke suits for the big day as Tracy and her bridesmaids all decked in white dresses walked gracefully into the church. Joe Mettle also serenaded the pair to beautiful gospel renditions after they were announced as man and wife.

Reception at Kempinski
At Kempinski, the newlyweds, as well as the invited guests and bridal party, were serenaded with good music from Kidi, D’Banj, Adina, Diana Hamilton, Amakye Dede and Sister Afia.
Not to talk about the decor, ambience, good food and great wine that characterised the ceremony. Tracy and Kennedy who seemed to have had the time of their lives oblivious of the sayings on social media and real-life partied hard into the wee hours of Sunday as man and wife.
